Lentrecote was born from a single conviction — that true culinary mastery lies not in complexity, but in the relentless pursuit of perfection within simplicity. Inspired by the legendary brasseries of Paris, we brought that tradition to Sunny Isles Beach.

Our menu has never changed. It was never meant to. Two courses. One secret sauce. A recipe passed down through French culinary tradition, unchanged by trend or season. Every night we serve the same meal. Every night, guests leave speechless.

The Name

What entrecôte means.

Entrecôte — literally between the ribs — is the French word for the cut of beef taken from between the ribs of the animal. It is also the name of a Parisian institution: the single-menu steak frites house, where the format never varies. You are not handed a menu. You are asked one question — how would you like your steak cooked — and then the meal arrives. Salad first. Then steak under a warm herb-butter sauce. Then frites, and more frites, for as long as you care to eat them.

That format is a prix fixe: one fixed-price set menu, the same for every guest, every night. We opened on Collins Avenue in 2018 to bring it to South Florida — our own independent house, inspired by Le Relais de l'Entrecôte and the brasseries of Paris rather than affiliated with them — and we have not changed it since. Our steak is USDA top sirloin, cooked sous-vide and finished to order. The sauce is ours, and it stays ours.

What is on the menu?

The menu is two courses served in sequence: La Salade (fresh greens with fresh walnuts and house Dijon mustard vinaigrette), Le Steak (USDA Top Sirloin Sous Vide and cooked to order, topped with our famous herb-butter sauce), and Les Frites (unlimited golden crispy French fries). A vegetarian alternative is available on request.

How do I make a reservation?

Book online through OpenTable, or call us at (305) 974-0043. Reservations are strongly recommended, especially on weekends.

Is there a vegetarian option?

Yes. We offer a vegetarian version of the two-course set menu. We substitute the steak for a 100% vegetarian Beyond Meat Patty.

What is the Lentrecote sauce?

The Lentrecote sauce is a closely guarded secret herb-butter sauce passed down through French culinary tradition. It is served warm over the Steak and is the signature element of the meal — the reason guests return, travel for, and dream about long after they leave.

Where is Lentrecote located?

Lentrecote is at 18146 Collins Ave, Sunny Isles Beach, FL 33160, on the ocean side of Collins Avenue between Miami Beach and Aventura. Plenty of free parking is available in front of the restaurant.

What are the opening hours?

We are closed Monday. Open Tuesday through Friday from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

Do you deliver?

Yes. Order the Lentrecote menu for delivery or takeout through Uber Eats.

What is the dress code?

Dress code for our restaurant is casual (no open shoes for men, please).

Do you accept pets/service pets?

Yes we do, but keep in mind you must call ahead and make a reservation, since we have two dedicated tables for this and they must be reserved prior to your arrival. Also keep in mind we do not provide any amenities for them, so please bring your own. Lastly, please only bring your pets if they are well trained and used to being in crowded areas — any misbehaving will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave. If you plan on sitting outside, no reservation is needed, but it's first come, first served.
